The Bautex production facility is located on the Ferizaj–Prishtina highway in Kosovo. Since 1999, the factory has produced alkaline-resistant fiberglass mesh, polyurethane construction foam, and self-adhesive fiberglass tapes for the construction industry. Products are exported to Albania, North Macedonia, Serbia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Montenegro, and markets across Europe. All products are ISO 9001:2015 certified and CE marked.
Established 1999 — Manufacturing in Ferizaj, Kosovo
Bautex was established in 1999 in Ferizaj, Kosovo, at a time when the Balkan region needed locally manufactured, high-quality construction reinforcement materials. The founding team identified a clear gap: construction companies across Kosovo and neighboring countries were importing fiberglass mesh at high cost, with long lead times and no local technical support.
Production started with a single fiberglass mesh line and has expanded over 25 years to include multiple product categories: alkaline-resistant fiberglass reinforcement mesh in various weights and aperture sizes, low-expansion polyurethane foam for window and door installations, adhesive foam for EPS and XPS insulation bonding, and self-adhesive fiberglass tape for drywall and plaster joints.
The factory operates on the main Ferizaj–Prishtina highway, enabling efficient loading and dispatch for domestic delivery across Kosovo and for export shipments via road freight to Albania, North Macedonia, Serbia, Bosnia, Montenegro, and EU markets. All products conform to CE standards and are manufactured under ISO 9001:2015 certified quality management procedures.
